Almost 50 years since I last saw Jackie but reading all the other messages here it’s clear she hasn’t changed - lovely, bubbly and kind. So sad that she has passed on so soon. My best wishes to you Gareth and your children at this difficult time.

Thoughts
We will be donating to The Royal Flying Doctor service in Australia . Judy ( Gareth’s sister) has lived longer in Oz than Long Eaton and is sure Jackie would approve wholeheartedly of the choice of charity . So sad that Jackie never made it to visit us here in Australia she would have loved it and we would have had a ball ! A very hard working , highly intelligent, caring , lady who made us laugh and with whom we consumed drink far too much red wine ! Jackie wrote the guidelines on how to be the perfect sister in law. We shall miss you funny lady. Mike and Judy Miller ( née Thomas )

Jackie was always so warm and friendly towards us as we grew up and I remember her drinking cups of tea at our house regularly and joining her and my Mum for dog walks. She was really down to earth and was such a warm personality x
